FAQs

How does The Elevator work?

The Elevator is a comprehensive approach to female nutrition, delivering the most bioactive nutrients in scientifically proven dosages and natural forms to supplement the nutritional deficiencies that cause women to experience symptoms of fatigue, poor immunity and hormonal imbalance as they age. The ease of a powder sachet allows the ingredients to be dissolved in water for optimal absorption into the body.

How should I take The Elevator?

We recommend that you take one sachet daily in the morning mixed with 100ml of water, juice, or smoothie. Make sure to stir well or even use a frother (we used no suspension agents for a more natural product). Then knock it back. For maximum absorption, we recommend that you leave a 15 min gap between taking the Elevator and other food or beverages.

Why should I take The Elevator?

The Elevator is a comprehensive formulation specifically engineered for the needs of the female physiology, giving multiple benefits including natural energy, immunity system support, hormonal balance as well as healthy skin hair and nails.
The Elevator is not a substitute for a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle, but it does include vitamins and minerals which our body can become deficient in where supplementation can help.
Taking The Elevator not only supports energy and the immune system it also balances our hormones. It has multiple other benefits for the brain, heart, circulatory system, joints, connective tissues, muscles, teeth, hair, skin and nails, bones, metabolism and thyroid function. There are 85 European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) health claims which we can make for The Elevator.

How is The Elevator different from other products?

The Elevator was developed with the female body in mind. Every ingredient choice took into account the specific needs of the female body from age 30+ and what would benefit us the most.
For example, a recent study demonstrated positive benefits to women from a daily intake of vitamin E in reproductive health as well as menopause. Another recent study (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30855110/) showed the benefits of chromium supplementation for healthy metabolism and hormone balance.
We understand the needs of busy multi-tasking women and therefore targeted energy, immunity and hormonal health to support women in their daily lives.

What flavour is it?

The Elevator has a mild mandarin flavour. We use only natural flavourings and it is naturally sweetened with a very small amount of steviol glycosides. The flavour is deliberately mild as strong flavours are divisive and we want as many people as possible to experience the benefits of The Elevator. If you like a stronger flavour, add less water or add it to a juice or smoothie.

What sweetener is used in The Elevator?

Steviol glycosides is a natural sweetener derived from the plant stevia rebaudiana and has been used for many years as a natural sweetener, particularly in South America. Benefits of stevia include no effect on blood sugar, does not contribute to tooth decay and does not contribute to calories in the diet.

What gives The Elevator its yellow colour?

There is no added colour. The Elevator gets its colour naturally from CoQ10 and vitamin B2 riboflavin, both active functional ingredients.

Can there be colour variations between batches?

There may be a variation in colour between different batches because all of our ingredients are natural.

What form of CoQ10 is used in The Elevator?

The CoQ10 used in The Elevator is ubiquinone. As compared with ubiquinol, ubiquinone is the more stable form with more studies showing its benefits. The form of ubiquinone used in The Elevator is a specialised water dispersible form for improved absorption.
Ubiquinone and ubiquinol are a redox pair in scientific terms, ubiquinone is the oxidised form while ubiquinol is the reduced form. The body has the ability to convert between both forms.

Which type of B12 is in The Elevator? Is it methylcobalamin or cyanocobalamin?

The Vitamin B12 in The Elevator is Methylcobalamin, the natural methylated form that is more readily absorbed by the body.

What type of Folate is used in The Elevator. Is it methylfolate or folic acid?

The form of folate is calcium L-methylfolate. This is the natural form which is more readily absorbed by the body than the synthetic folic acid form.

How many international units of Vitamin D is in The Elevator?

There is 30 micrograms of vitamin D3 in The Elevator which is equivalent to 1200 IU.

Some of the ingredients do not have any listed benefit on the packaging. Why?

Legislation requires that we can only use European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) health claims on packaging and marketing material. There are no EFSA health claims for CoQ10 and piperine and therefore we cannot state the benefits of these ingredients as found by clinical studies.
We have developed all of our supplements in conjunction with doctors, nutritionists, dieticians, and experts and have included the doses recommended by peer reviewed clinical studies – regardless of cost.
Because there is no official EFSA claim in respect of certain ingredients, we cannot make a claim without failing to comply with legislation.
